Fire Detection & Alarm System

Image

Fire detectors are designed to detect one or more of the three characteristics of fire-smoke, heat and flame. Besides it every fire detection system must include manual call points (break glass), so that in the event of fire can be of immediate help.

During a fire importance of activation of the occupants through alarm or bell is of at most vital and this can performed through alarm system.

Fire detection and protection system is required for the following reasons:

  • To detect fire in the area during the initial stage.
  • To alert occupants, so that they escape the building safely.
  • Summon trained personnel to take charge of controlling the fire as quickly as possible.
  • To initiate automatic fire control and suppression system.
  • To support and supervise the fire control and suppression system.

  • Gulf Advanced Unity design, supply and install fixed dry and wet chemical extinguishing systems, as well as halogenated agent fire extinguishing, Halon alternative systems, and carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems. Gulf Advanced Unity also design and install automatic systems based on specialist tube technology that enables a directly connected fire detection / discharge tube to act as an “all in one” detection and extinguisher system
  • In the event of a fire the detection tube ruptures at the hot spot and discharges the extinguisher contents directly on to the source of the fire
  • Once correctly installed, our tube extinguisher systems provide constant automatic protection and require minimal maintenance
  • An optional pressure switch can be fitted to the unit and will provide an optional facility to sound alarms shut down machinery, etc.

Fire Extinguishers

All fire extinguishers are certified to international standards and approved for use by the Saudi Arabia Civil Defense and Fire Directorate of the Ministry of Interior.

Water Fire Extinguishers

These are designed for universal use against class A rated fires of solid matter such as wood, paper, straw, coal and textiles.

Foam Fire Extinguishers

Foam spray extinguishers, Foam spray extinguishers are especially suitable for Class B fires involving flammable liquids such as oils, spirits, greases, fats and certain plastics.

Powder & CO2 Fire Extinguishers

Powder extinguishers are suitable for use on Class A, B, and also Class C type fires involving flammable gasses such as propane and butane. Powder is also highly effective for electrical hazards

DRY CHEMICAL

For fire hazards found in industrial settings, dry chemical systems provide flexibility based on the size and configuration of the application. Both systems provide automatic or manual operation and detection/alarm/release capabilities.

CLEAN AGENT FIRE SUPPRESSION

Imagine your company’s valuable data, equipment and systems lost to fire. How many enterprises, businesses and customers would be negatively impacted if your equipment or network were to go down? And how quickly could you get back on line … if at all? Even one day lost to fire-related downtime can mean lost revenues, customers and profits.

HALON

The new agents (FM-200, INERGEN, and FE-13 among them) will all rapidly extinguish all classes of fire without causing any damage or requiring any extensive clean-up when discharged. They are all approved for use in occupied areas. They are environmentally sound and are all listed as approved replacements for Halon 1301 by the United States Environmental Protection Agency with no scheduled future phase-out. Each of the agents listed above has qualities that lend themselves to particular applications. National Fire Protection can help in the decision-making process, by examining the fire protection need our sales staff can present options as to the best system for you.
